Hung Man Po is a visual artist and designer, who finds profound inspiration in the vibrant tapestry of the community and its people. His creative journey has led him to recognize the deep interconnection between artists and the communities they inhabit. His compelling works, such as "Listening, Hong Kong” beautifully narrate the tales of vanishing brands in the city, "Age of Wonders” a captivating exploration of Sham Shui Po, and "Omi Cities" explores the influence of both Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur, we can see his unwavering affection for the Hong Kong community.

In his distinctive ukiyo-e style paintings, Hung Man Po captures the diverse human experiences within the Hong Kong community, forging a sincere and profound connection. His artistic expressions serve as a heartfelt homage to the people and rich cultural tapestry of Hong Kong, embodying a firm dedication to safeguarding and exalting the essence of the community through his evocative creations.

As a designer with over two decades of experience in branding and graphic design, Hung has collaborated with esteemed entities such as the British Council, Hong Kong Arts Center, Taiwan Alisanwin Tea Brand, and Malaysia Classic Accents Museum, where Po embraced the role of a storyteller.

Whether shaping a brand‘s visual narrative as a designer or weaving captivating tales through his art and photography, Hung Man Po humbly embraces his dual identity, to continue to tell impressive stories across different mediums.

社區故事人

洪文寶以社區和居民間多元面貌為創作靈感。從創意之旅認識到藝術家們與其居住社區之間的深厚聯繫。 無論是由他敘述城市中消失的品牌故事「聽港 Listen, Hong Kong」,或是敘述一個關於深水埗個人回憶和探索社區演變的「浪盪時光 Age of Wonders」,還有「雙城記 Omi Cities」中香港與吉隆坡個別文化差異對他的影響, 都充滿著對兩個城市深厚情懷。對洪文寶來說,以浮世繪畫風描繪出香港社區的種種人情味,便是他與社區連繫的最好方法。

身為全職設計師,洪文寶擁有超過二十年品牌及平面設計經驗,曾與英國文化協會、香港藝術中心、台灣阿里山烏龍茶品牌和馬來西亞鄉音館等國際機構合作,每每都飾演故事講述者的角色。

無論是作為設計師塑造品牌的視覺敘事,還是透過藝術創作來編織社區故事,洪文寶都謙卑地擁抱這雙重身份,努力在不同媒介中好好說故事。
